Fearless-ly STUPID Girl

At least those guys in Pamplona have sense enough to run.

Fearless-ly STUPID Girl

Arturo Di Modica is attempting to nullify the femi-fascist movements' co-opting of his Charging Bull sculpture. Good for him.

Mr. Di Midicas' lawyer says:

"The statue of the young girl becomes the Fearless Girl only because of the Charging Bull:

"The work is incomplete without Mr. Di Modicas' Charging Bull, and as such it constitutes a derivative work."

I myself agree. The positioning, of the figure as well as the cast and "finish" of it makes it look an attempt at making it look like it goes with the Di Modica work.

Instead of a symbol of what Mr. Di Modica intended, "The strength of America, the strength of the market." The statue was originally installed in front of the New York Stock Exchange in 1987 after the stock market crash of that year.

Now it looks like a tableau of a stupid little girl taunting a large animal and about to get pounded into the dirt and not what its plaque says about "the power of women" (They spelled it wrong! Shouldn't it be "the power of WOMYN"?).

Well I guess two can play at that game.

Hows' about a statue dubbed "Sneering SS Guard" in front of the National Holocaust Museum?

Or "Defiant KluKKer" on the sidewalk in front of Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church?

Maybe "Sword Swinging Jap Fanatic" near the National World War II Memorial on the mall in Washington, D.C.?

Ridiculous ...

Yes, there's nothing like "the power of WOMYN(!)" by rubbing someone elses' nose in it.

We don't do it. There's no reason the "left" should either.

Maybe the matter can be settled by just re-naming it "Stupid About To Be Gored, Flung and Stomped Into the Ground Girl".

Jus' sayin' ...
Kinda' reminds you of this, doesn't it?

Stupid Little Feminist Twit

Stupid Little Feminist Twit

So I'm at work at that cut-rate would be Wal-Mart that shall remain nameless. The night before, I passed a kidney stone. One of those star shaped ones with all the points. A real screamer.

I'm talking to one of my co-workers when I'm RUDELY interrupted by another. An annoying little adolescent just barley in her teens. Seems she was a bit put out about what I had just said.

I had just barely finished mentioning that I had a vague idea of what it was like to give birth when this tin pot Steinem ran over and jumped my case.

"Just what would you know about giving birth!?" She indignantly cried with a leer."Men know nothing about that! Men know nothing about blah blah blah this 'n that" and on and on she went.

Lets see ... Here I am, being berated by a mere slip of a girl who may have just passed menarche about a year or two ago at most, about giving birth. I doubt she had even had any experience at being "experienced" let alone at dropping at least one as the result of such. Of course, you can never tell these days. She was, after all, about the same age Traci Lords started out.

"Well, first of all hon," I started in reply, "I only said I had a vague idea. I made no claim of having first hand knowledge. Now you seem to be a young lady experienced in the ways of the world so maybe you can clue me in."

The would be crusader/PC warrioress drew back her head and stiffened up.

"So tell me ... How difficult was it with your first child and did it get any easier with your second and third?"

The little jerk turned, walking away, muttering something under her breath.

You know the old saying: "Engage brain before putting mouth in gear."

Also: "If you don't like what you overhear, then don't eavesdrop."

Just sayin' ...

Mysogynist Moment

Mysogynist Moment

I knew this fellow while working at the pistol range in Powell, Ohio. Gunsmith by trade, he later went into a career in EMS.

While going to a two year tech college for it, he had to attend nursing classes. Comprised mainly of women. The first class of the day was one of those & he was the only guy there. Seems a lot of "feminists" attended this particular one & would engage in "girl talk" before lessons' start. A lot of it about, to put it mildly, "those men" & what scum they are. Being a gentleman, he kept quiet & would pass the time reading while they pretended he wasn't there. He put up with this for several weeks.

It came to a head finally. It was during a particularly vituperative before class session a hush fell over the room & one of the more vocal "activists" turned to him & loudly asked:

"So what do you think of all this?"

He calmly set down his book. He scanned the room, seeing all eyes on him.

"If you people didn't f---, there'd be a bounty on you."

The wailing! The whining! The grinding & gnashing of teeth! The absolute, cacophonous, pan-demonic-onium that ensued ...

What ... OMG! ... Dis ... Disagreement! Opposition! ... The sanctity of our suffering & outlook! ... Under attack! ... How ... How dare he dood this! How ... dare he ... Dare!?

Word of this got to the assitant dean. As this was the 90s all he got was a warning after explaining his side of the story. The male bashing in that particular class was a lot less after that though.

A Reflection On the 4th of July: If You Say So ...

A bit dated, but I like it. Credit: Retorillo

A Reflection On the 4th of July: If You Say So ...

Was going to post the above illustration sooner but the recent storms in Ohio "broke the internet". On reflection of the origins of our country, a not too recent "incident" was brought to mind. At a dinner I attended, someone made a faux sophisticated comment on the Bible, referring to it as a "product of a male dominated agrarian society". The bitter, childless, post-menepausal crone to be seemed quite proud of how we've come a long way from such a situation. Farmers (The male ones of course.) can be soooo backward, what with their actions based on practicality & cause & effect n' all. She said this, by the way, while eating.

Male dominated agrarian society ... hmmm. Seems we came quite close to that a few scant hours ago with the power knocked out. As of this writing some areas in Ohio are still without power.

How easy it is to overlook the fact that physically/mentally we are no different than those primitive hunter/gatherers of a few thousand years ago. Our gimmicks, gadgets, & fanciful ideologies seem to obscure that. I wonder how it would be if the electricity didn't come back for say, at least a month over a nationwide area. That "male dominated agrarian society" might not seem so archaic. It would be right here. Or at least the mid 19th century.

One could only imagine how these feminists & "lovely thought" types would handle such a situation. No doubt they'd be seeking some of that male domination. Not only to be protected from some of the other "testosterone afflicted" but also from some of those feminoid frankenstiens they helped create.

As for modern "humanity" (Can't say man. That would be sexist.) having cast off the shackles of the Bible & male domination ... Well, as it says in God's word: Jesus, the same, yesterday, today & forever (Hebrews 13:8). The same can be said for mankind ... Just sayin'.
