First a disclaimer:

No, I'm not getting this blog into ecchi or cheesecake and certainly not porn/hentai.

This is an experiment.

What I'm attempting is to see how effective renaming an illustration can be in aquiring blog hits.

Example:

When one is looking for a particular illustration, does he go to a search engine and enter 123xyz.jpg? Of course not. What he enters is what he's looking for. Character or actor name, title, scene description, and any other particulars he has in mind. If what he's looking for is named 123xyz.jpg, there's a good chance it's not going to come up and you'll be less one hit on your blog.

I rename any illustrations on this blog with as many particulars as possible so as to lead seekers here. As an example, right click any of  this articles' illustrations and open in new tab. You'll notice the "names" to be quite long. While this probably mainly attracts "picture snatchers" it: A. Gets me one more blog hit closer to the "head of the line" on search engines. A hit is a hit after all. And B. If at least one out of every ten seekers bothers to read the article the image is with then it's done its job.

Oh yes. I also load up a blog post with as many relevant labels as possible.

As an aside, I chuckle every time I try to "snatch" a picture somewhere else and a "warning" pops up condemning me as a "leacher" or some such. Kind of makes me wonder how HE got the image in the first place. Maybe it just happened to appear in his downloads file for no particular reason. Suuuuuure ...

As we all know, sex "sells". Certainly in anime and as any anime fan knows, the Haruhi Suzumiya character is still a hot property even though the show has ceased airing several years now. I thought that in using this particular illustration from the show, I can get a good idea of how effective the renaming of a picture can be.

I got the image at the top of this article from the website konachan.com. It's a booru type website that specializes in anime "wallpapers". As few people make wallpapers out of hentai, the site has comparitively little porn on it and what there is, is of a more "tasteful" kind. The site has a "safe mode" option if you want to avoid that sort of thing.

Again, I'm not trying to break into the porn field. I'm sure there are a LOT of folks out there who can do it so much "better" than I.

All models (Plastic, silicon, etc. Cement & paint not included.), "actors"/"actresses", farm animals, humanoids, reasonable facsimiles thereof and other persons/mutants that appear in any visual depiction of actual or simulated sexual misconduct appearing or otherwise contained in or at, were over the age of eighteen (18) years or at least looked like it at the time of the creation of such depictions, or the procurers at least waited until they were eighteen (18) years of age before releasing said depictions.

Some of the aforementioned depictions appearing or otherwise contained in or at, contain only visual depictions of actual sexually explicit misconduct made before July 3, 1895, and, as such, are exempt from the requirements set forth in 18 U.S.C. 2257 1/2, C.F.R. 75 & Rule 34. However, anything with Traci Lords appearing is subject to immediate review. With regard to the remaining depictions of actual sexual misconduct appearing or otherwise contained in or at, the bogus records required pursuant to 18 U.S.C. 2257 1/2, C.F.R. 75, & Rule 34 are kept by one of the custodian of records listed below (If we find him/her/it we'll let you know.).

In fulfilling its obligations under Section 2257 1/2, relies on the plainly vague language of the statute and on the well-reasoned decision of the Tenth U.S. Short Circuit Court of Appeals in Sundance over a few drinks, which states that entities who merely distribute content and have no role in procuring models (Why did they have to change the formula of the glue!?) or producing content, are exempt from on-site bogus record keeping requirements.

Now that I have your attention, I would like to direct it to the "illustration" below. If you happen to be one of those delving into the various aspects of the "dark underbelly" of anime/manga, you may find this to be of particular interest:

I don't know who the writer is nor does it cite any studies, facts or stats backing it up. However, the plausability of the "article" & common sense tell me I have little reason to question its' credibility.

I have heard/read the excuses/rationalisations regarding the "consumption" of such material. I understand that if no real children were "used" in the making of such "liturature" then it doesn't fall under the definition of child porn. As a small "L" libertarian I understand the concept of "no victim, no crime/no blood, no foul". Yes, it's legal. Doesn't make it moral.

One fellow at a convention stated (In regard to some anime having "anatomically correct" upskirt shots of "underage" characters.) that he pretended the characters were actually older than they appeared. He actually said that ... with a straight face ... in front of an audience.

Others say that though they are into lolicon/shotacon, they would never, EVER, look upon a real child as a sexual object. I have my doubts. If one is into that, I would not suggest that person be hired as a staffer at a child care center. That common sense thing again.

Then there's the ultimate cop out: "Who is it hurting?"

It you're into that sort of thing then I would say it's ... ultimately ... you.

      Never before, have I seen, such a fun, happy, & CLEAN intro to depravity. Unlike Comic Party, & Comic Party Revolution, the viewer is actually told of what some manga/doujin sub genres are about: Porn/hentai. While the other two only hinted, Doujin Work out & out says it ..... without showing much of anything prurient. I must admit, that certainly takes some skill.

      It's the story of Najimi Osana, who finds out from her doujin artist/author friend Tsuyuri, there's money to be made in comic book porn. The running joke being she's a wide eyed "babe in the woods" making for some humorous situations as she immerses herself in the world of smut.

      What crosses the line for me is the relationship between Justice, another artist/author friend of Najimis', and his more than obviously underaged "companion" Sora Kitano. Though nothing is shown in the anime, it's plain that this is more than inappropriate. I understand the manga this show is derived from to be more explicit about it.

      Too bad. the anime is actually quite funny in places. I even liked that peppy closing number. Seeing as what this show is about, I can't recommend it. In spite of how CLEAN it is in regard to the subject matter, it's definitely not for the kiddies ..... or some adults for that matter.

     A friend of mine was going to get married. Totally knocked over by this babe. He spoke in nothing but glowing terms & was bound & determined to spend the rest of his life with her.

     According to him, you couldn't find a more compatiple mate for him. So much alike, they were. Both PHDs & teachers. Both pretty much the same interests. He liked certain movies & shows. She liked certain movies & shows. He liked history. She liked history. He liked reading/litturature. She liked reading/litt. He liked girls. She liked ..... uh, yeah.

     Her wires must have gotten crossed while she was engaged in correspondance as he ended up recieving a rather explicit letter intended for her "girlfriend". In short, no wedding, gimme back the ring.

     Two years down the road, he drops by to kill some time. I, being something of a sadist, figured he'd gotten over it, thought I'd spring a little something on him. I told him I'd found something he might be interested in & popped the disc in.

     Dirty Pair Flash is a 90s anime reinvention of the original 80s show/series by Haruka Takachiho. Two young ladies, Kei & Yuri, work for a contractural police agency solving crimes with LOTS of collateral damage, hence the name, Dirty Pair.

     One of the three story arcs of the 16 ep series, Angels At Worlds End, involves solving a computer related industrial espionage situation at a planet wide theme park (For some strange reason it resembles Tokyo in the 90s. Why is that?) Along for the ride, is a young man (A computer systems tech/analyst.) named Touma.

     In the fourth & least violent ep of this arc (Sparkling Flower Shop of Love) Touma becomes madly infatuated with Leena, a young lady he meets at a flower shop when he & Yuri duck in to get out of the rain. In his pursuit of her, she inquires more than once about his relationship with Yuri (Wich is strictly professional.). This gets Touma even more fired up. It's only toward the end the viewer finds that it's Yuri Leena is "interested" in.

     It was to this ep I clicked & we sat to watch. At one point, he asked if this had anything to do with him &, with a straight face, I promptly lied (I am an "actor" after all.). He sat there with a semi-puzzled look & every so often I'd peripherally see him glancing my way with a cocked eyebrow.

     For most of the ep, it looks to be another of those dumb romance animes cluttering up the landscape. "Why on earth would anyone want me to watch this krap?" Why indeed. Heh, heh. I was inspired to do this by a former co-worker who once freaked out a poor soul with some yaoi hentai (gay anime porn).

     Well, the end comes around & he's there with a half frown/smirk on his face. He then busts out laughing along with the Kei character & her crude efforts to comfort Touma.

     I was a bit concerned as to how he would take this, but, as he has a sense of humor, he took it quite well. At least it looked that way ..... I think.
