Sen. Ted Cruz Endorses Donald Trump

... AND AGAIN!

Got this from Armand Vaquers' blog Armands' Rancho del Cielo:

Sen. Ted Cruz Endorses Donald Trump

Here is Sen. Ted Cruz's (R-TX) statement endorsing Donald Trump for president:

This election is unlike any other in our nation’s history. Like many other voters, I have struggled to determine the right course of action in this general election.

In Cleveland, I urged voters, “please, don’t stay home in November. Stand, and speak, and vote your conscience, vote for candidates up and down the ticket whom you trust to defend our freedom and to be faithful to the Constitution.”

After many months of careful consideration, of prayer and searching my own conscience, I have decided that on Election Day, I will vote for the Republican nominee, Donald Trump.

I’ve made this decision for two reasons. First, last year, I promised to support the Republican nominee. And I intend to keep my word.

Second, even though I have had areas of significant disagreement with our nominee, by any measure Hillary Clinton is wholly unacceptable — that’s why I have always been #NeverHillary.

Six key policy differences inform my decision. First, and most important, the Supreme Court. For anyone concerned about the Bill of Rights — free speech, religious liberty, the Second Amendment — the Court hangs in the balance. I have spent my professional career fighting before the Court to defend the Constitution. We are only one justice away from losing our most basic rights, and the next president will appoint as many as four new justices. We know, without a doubt, that every Clinton appointee would be a left-wing ideologue. Trump, in contrast, has promised to appoint justices “in the mold of Scalia.”

For some time, I have been seeking greater specificity on this issue, and today the Trump campaign provided that, releasing a very strong list of potential Supreme Court nominees — including Sen. Mike Lee, who would make an extraordinary justice — and making an explicit commitment to nominate only from that list. This commitment matters, and it provides a serious reason for voters to choose to support Trump.

Second, Obamacare. The failed healthcare law is hurting millions of Americans. If Republicans hold Congress, leadership has committed to passing legislation repealing Obamacare. Clinton, we know beyond a shadow of doubt, would veto that legislation. Trump has said he would sign it.

Third, energy. Clinton would continue the Obama administration’s war on coal and relentless efforts to crush the oil and gas industry. Trump has said he will reduce regulations and allow the blossoming American energy renaissance to create millions of new high-paying jobs.

Fourth, immigration. Clinton would continue and even expand President Obama’s lawless executive amnesty. Trump has promised that he would revoke those illegal executive orders.

Fifth, national security. Clinton would continue the Obama administration’s willful blindness to radical Islamic terrorism. She would continue importing Middle Eastern refugees whom the FBI cannot vet to make sure they are not terrorists. Trump has promised to stop the deluge of unvetted refugees.

Sixth, Internet freedom. Clinton supports Obama’s plan to hand over control of the Internet to an international community of stakeholders, including Russia, China, and Iran. Just this week, Trump came out strongly against that plan, and in support of free speech online.

These are six vital issues where the candidates’ positions present a clear choice for the American people.

If Clinton wins, we know — with 100% certainty — that she would deliver on her left-wing promises, with devastating results for our country.

My conscience tells me I must do whatever I can to stop that.

We also have seen, over the past few weeks and months, a Trump campaign focusing more and more on freedom — including emphasizing school choice and the power of economic growth to lift African-Americans and Hispanics to prosperity.

Finally, after eight years of a lawless Obama administration, targeting and persecuting those disfavored by the administration, fidelity to the rule of law has never been more important.

The Supreme Court will be critical in preserving the rule of law. And, if the next administration fails to honor the Constitution and Bill of Rights, then I hope that Republicans and Democrats will stand united in protecting our fundamental liberties.

Our country is in crisis. Hillary Clinton is manifestly unfit to be president, and her policies would harm millions of Americans. And Donald Trump is the only thing standing in her way.

A year ago, I pledged to endorse the Republican nominee, and I am honoring that commitment. And if you don’t want to see a Hillary Clinton presidency, I encourage you to vote for him.

Drudge Report Headlines!

"Enter freely and 'uv you own 'vill ... BLEAH! BLEAH!"
Sorry Bela ... Mr. Lee ...

Drudge Report Headlines!

1. BOY SMITES CRUZ. YOU SUCK!

Yesterday it was "The emperor has no clothes", now its: YOU SUCK!

I actually like Ted but I think he'd be more valuable in the senate during a Trump administration.

2. BECK: FAST AND PRAY FOR 24HRS

And off to the side-

3. CRUZ DAD: 'I Implore Every Member of Body of Christ to Vote According to Word of God' ...

I hope this doesn't mean a vote for Cruz is a vote for Jesus!

People ask if I believe the word of God (The bible.) to be the inerrant word of God. Yes I do ... I just don't necessarily believe someone elses' INTERPRETATION of the inerrant word of God to be the inerrant WORD OF GOD.

It was a long time before I learned His name was Jesus and not ... JE-ZUS!

Darn rapture bunnies!

4. CARLY FALLS OFF STAGE

I'm luvvin' it! Not Carly getting hurt though. Just the spectacle of the whole presidential election thing. Ms. Fiorina would make a great VP. Just not under Mr. Cruz.

Ted Cruz: Beware of the Born Again

Ted Cruz: Beware of the Born Again

I'm always quite leery of politicians who say they're "born again" and wear their salvation on their sleeves to garner votes. That was a lesson learned long ago.

Harken back to the 1976 presidential election, Carter vs Ford.

Across the country and in divinity school, the "rapture bunnies" were all atwitter over Jimmy Carter and his being "One of us!".

During this time the same "good Christians' at the bible college were giving me a hard time about my voting third party (Yeah, yeah ... Should have voted for Ford. Then again, the Republicans should've voted Reagan during primary season!). They of course doubted my salvation over a number of things (My skepticism about the phony rapture doctrine among other things.). The latest of which was my not jumping on the Jimmy Carter bandwagon with the rest of the independent thinkers.

I, of course, was doubtful about Mr. Carters' salvation. Not because I disagreed with his stance on things but because his theological beliefs were being used by the rank and file of believers as a political point in voting for him.

I believe a personal relationship with the Lord to be just that ... PERSONAL. Something between you and the Lord only. Yes, share the "message". Tell one and all about how and why Jesus did what he did. After all, ones' place in eternity stands on it. (1)

But it shouldn't be used to pander for political or monetary gain and used to puff oneself up before one and all. (Matthew 6:1-5 and 23:5-7)

In exasperated response to all the chiding and BS from my classmates, I told them they would regret their choice about a year down the road and they wouldn't want to talk to me about it.

Turned out I was right. They liked me even less after that and the whole country had a four year long lesson to learn.

My advice to voters who get taken in by the vocally pious is the same I give to young women:

Anyone who uses Jesus as part of his pick-up routine and come-on line IS A PATHETIC LOSER.

STAY AWAY FROM THE GUY!

Or ... In the words of the famous anti-Communist Herb Philbrick, when asked about Jimmy Carter:

"A born again turkey ... Is STILL ... a turkey."

Mitt Romney: A Cruz supporter and a man eminently qualified to speak anything about everything.

If I come across as harsh in regard to the above personalities, I do so only for emphasis. The future of our country is riding on this election and we can ill afford "business as usual" politics/policy.

Vote wisely.

1. The proceeding is what's known to believers as "the Roman road" as most of the verses are from the Book of Romans.

Romans 3:10-12 - 10) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11) There is none that understands, there is none that seeks after God. 12) They are all gone out of the way, they are altogether become unprofitable; there is none that does good., no, not one.

Psalms 14:3 - They are all gone aside, they are altogether become filthy: there is none that does good, no, not one.

Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;

No one is blameless. If you have trouble wrapping your mind around this, think of it as you would an illness or physical condition. It is a state which we are born under.

Romans 5:12 - Wherefore , as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

The how and why we are that way. Adam is the reason we're under the weight of sin and trapped in this deadly cycle of entropy, decay and death.
Romans 5:8 - But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Jesus is the way out. The other side of the equation. With our acknowledgement of our sinbound state we can go on to have the Lord correct that.

Romans 10:13 - For whosover shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans 10:9-10 - 9) That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. 10) For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.

This is the how in regard to Jesus. Do these and the cycle has no spiritual claim on you.

Revelation 3:20 - Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Jesus is waiting for you to answer. He has been there all along knocking. It could be you just didn't (Or didn't want to.) hear it.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Of course, it goes without saying, "Go and sin no more". I really stink at this. However, one should always keep going back and asking the Lord for guidance and strength to resist (It's called prayer.).

This is what's known as repentance, an active turning away from giving in to ones' baser instincts and it's an ongoing thing.

For guidance I strongly suggest one get in touch with a strong bible believing pastor/church in your area.

For a more in depth explanation, please read chapters 12, 13 and 14 of my Angel Beats fan fiction story, In Gods' Good Time.

The Best Advertising Donald Trump Ever Had

The Best Advertising Donald Trump Ever Had

As you probably know by now, a few short hours ago as of this writing, a hoard of the "peace, love and brotherhood" crowd descended on a Donald Trump rally in Chicago and "expressed" themselves in the manner of the fascists they accuse everyone else of being.

The rally was called off, no doubt causing exaltation among the approximately ten grand disciples of tolerance and justice. They probably think they have won a victory of some kind.

Fools.

This has to be the best advertising Donald Trump has ever had ... And he didn't even have to spend a cent on it.

It has now been demonstrated beyond a shadow of a doubt that:

The left and it's parasitic constituencies absolutely HATE Donald Trump.

The something for nothing crowd hates him.

The minority racists hate him.

The Muslims hate him.

The illegal (And some legal.) aliens hate him.

The collegiate left hates him.

Welfare sponges and other oxygen thieves hate him.

The list could go on for days.

Mr. Trump must be doing something right.

Face it, the above listed "wretched refuse" actually believe "the great Wal-Mart to the north" would be closed and the free ride to be over if Mr. Trump is elected president.

Do you ever hear of such hatred directed at Cruz, Kasich or Rubio? Didn't think so.

This has only served to solidify my decision for this buckeye to vote FOR Mr. Trump this Tuesday.

It may have made up the minds of many who were undecided.

You now know who to vote for ...

MAKE IT COUNT!
